  1. I wish it were that easy! It’s like a sandwich without all the yummy fixings between the two pieces of bread!

  2. I’m sure you’re aware that historians find this appalling, too 🙂

I always give in and write whatever’s on my mind on any particular day. Of course, that means I have at least two manuscripts with big patches that I’ve never felt like writing.

    1. Haha! I have books that I started then hit a certain point and just want to say, one thing led to another and they lived happily ever after. The end.

      1. I’ve read published novels that had endings just like that. So frustrating to be in the middle of a story and then a lazy author wraps it up without tying up all the loose threads. I’ve never read a second book from some people. And never will. Fool me once shame on me, fool me twice shame on you. But these guys will not get a second chance with me!

          1. You know you’ve read 300 pages and there’s only 20 left and nothing has been determined or finished and you’re beginning to think there must be a sequel. But no, it’s unsatisfactorily

      2. That happens to me a lot lately. Start ’em, get 1/3rd of the way in and thin – Effit! Go to the last chapter and be done. 🙁
